LIGHT Certification Program for Advanced Hypnotherapists - Course Outline - Pre-Launch.pdf
The course curriculum mentions an international hypnotherapy school [EKAA] as we originally created the content and tested it in other markets before bringing it to the United States. Early access to the program will unfortunately still feature these mentions, and we request you to kindly skip it in your mind and know that the important learning and information shared here are still relevant to your certification needs.
Note: Some lessons are hidden from view at the free preview stage as they disclose some proprietary information related to the therapy protocol. The lesson plan provided here is only to give you an overview, the actual flow of chapters and segments may vary.
To avoid confusion, we do recommend that you consult with your hypnotherapy institute to check your eligibility to join this program before proceeding with enrollment.

FAQ
-
When will the Paid Course Materials become available?
The paid course contents will be released to the paying student starting mid- to late-January 2020 in a drip format, one chapter at a time, spaced by a few days or a week or so, to allow enough time for the individual to actually assimilate the information and have enough room for any assignments, feedback, and discussions. As a show of appreciation for early adopters who sign up early and are willing to be patient until we start drip releasing the course materials, we have offered you the $50 discount that you may avail until January 31, 2020, by using the code 'EKAA-L5' on the payment page.
-
How long will it take to complete the program?
Each individual may pick their own time schedule for how quickly they wish to complete the program. There will be in-all over 40+ hours of training content along with additional reading or viewing materials that are recommended but may not be necessarily mandatory. The courses are best assimilated when spaced apart by a few days or more to allow for the materials to sink in and have an impact on one's perception and imagination. Towards the end of the program, the individuals completing the course materials will be required to put what they have learned into practice. Each student will take on two clients and deliver five LIGHT sessions each. These sessions are delivered one per week for the 5 consecutive weeks. You may manage the two clients in the same timeframe, but you may not have them both sit in on the same sessions. The sessions have to be individually crafted for each client. At the fastest pace, a person may manage to meet all the requirements for the successful completion of this program in about 10 weeks or so. Ideally, with a balanced distribution of time and managing this program alongside a full life of existing commitments, a person may complete this program in about 3-4 months.

Do you still have more queries before you commit to the program?
This is a new direction for many of you, and it may lead to a number of questions and doubts that you'd like addressed before you commit to it wholeheartedly. This is well appreciated at our end, and we wish to be available to address all your concerns. However, we do strongly recommend that you review all the materials that have been made available to you through the Free Preview chapters when you sign-up initially at no cost to you—and please note that we do not collect any banking information from you. We will expand this section with frequently asked questions that are coming our way. But in addition to this, we will also host a webinar at certain points when we have enough number of interested individuals who wish to receive more information. You will receive these updates either directly through us or from EKAA via an email newsletter. We thank you for your patience and clarity to make this journey smooth and fun. Meanwhile, you may have a look at some of our webpages to get more detailed information about LIGHT and its progress to-date. LIGHT homepage and LIGHT @ UC San Diego School of Medicine.

What will you need to deliver to receive the certification?
Kindly refer to the curriculum. You'll find in "Chapter 6: Conclusion" • Summary of Key Course Highlights • Preliminary Quiz • Assignment – 5 Sessions each with 2 Clients – Reporting • Final Quiz | You should already be familiar with this format of delivery as it appears that EKAA has something similar that you have all completed for receiving your Level-5 certification.
-
What will the LIGHT certification provide you?
A LIGHT certified graduate from this program will have the know-how and tools necessary to provide LIGHT as a therapy modality to clients. This course by default will license you for a year to practice and follow certain protocols for client education and overall reporting to maintain standards and stay updated with the process developments if any. Every other year, you will be assessed based on overall results with clients and your level of participation. You may be required to upgrade your skills if there has been any significant addition to the format or if we feel it might benefit you to have a refresher course. The license would need to be renewed every two years. This is to maintain accountability, consistency, and a level of standard that we assure the clients of LIGHT across the board will receive when it is delivered by a certified LIGHT practitioner.
-
Can you teach LIGHT after completing this program?
Each individual has their own priorities regarding where they wish to invest their effort. Some people gravitate toward the process of delivery directly to the client, whereas others may pick the position of a teacher to provide information and experience to those who seek the know-how for self-help or to become a practitioner. Still, others may seek something more beyond the activity on the ground to become involved with research to improve the standing of certain modalities including hypnotherapy, guided imagery, and mind-body-spirit practices such as LIGHT. Regardless of whether you pick one over the other or if you wish to participate in every aspect of the delivery process, the options are available and open to you through this program. The process and rigor for each may vary based on who the other players are in creating the platform for delivery. As a practitioner, you may continue within your current set-up and deliver LIGHT as an additional tool to your clients by following certain prescribed protocols that you will get acquainted toward the end of this program. To become a teacher of LIGHT, you will be needed to devote more time to acquire the fundamentals and engage with the program further by proctoring our courses and participating as a trainee teacher for some time until you gain enough confidence and prowess. Ideally, this would mean proctoring our two program formats for the public, which include the 8-week program and the 3-day weekend intensive to access the method of delivery to the general user who learns LIGHT for self-care and self-application only. Additionally, the expert training program which you are currently attending will require additional and in-depth participation, and you may be required to participate in a few of these as a proctor and then as an assistant teacher before leading the program. Each person has shown a different outcome based on their aptitude, background, and level of participation, and therefore no standard timeframe can be prescribed. Also, you will have to assess your own strengths in placing your effort correctly to gain the most out of this program to improve your future prospects with LIGHT, so you can be the best of whichever role you pick as your primary focus, whether you wish to primarily be a practitioner and deliver LIGHT to clients or if you want to teach others in the self-care space or whether you want to train other practitioners, or whether you focus on research outcomes—having a well-matched role will ensure that you will be able to maintain your levels of self-motivation and focus through the years that it will take to master and add a significant benefit to society.
